Seni-fijë Dêtîkè

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè (/ˈseni/ /ˈfiʤë/ [vicious; wild] [title]) is a subtropical Town located in the Aguki Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Seni-fijë Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Seni-fijë Dêtîkè was founded by Tsîrí Dyeshê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 31°C (87°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 36°C (96°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Seni-fijë Dêtîkè receives an average of 113 cm/y (44 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Seni-fijë Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 5 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 11574 m (-4977 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 12th century in spring of the year 1053, by Tsîrí Dyeshê. The establishment of Seni-fijë Dêtîkè suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Seni-fijë Dêtîkè which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Seni-fijë Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged arround a single spacious cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Seni-fijë Dêtîkè's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Seni-fijë Dêtîkè's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Seni-fijë Dêtîkè’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

In Seni-fijë Dêtîkè rain occurs in reverse with water pooling up from the earth then falling into the skies to from clouds, this unsettles every visitor that sees it.

The Serpentfolk near Seni-fijë Dêtîkè are known to be quite timid.

Seni-fijë Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves destroying a prepared ritual vessel to channel Invocation energies of tier 3 via recitation of poetic epics.
